Marcie Glenn, CEO of Another Source, is revolutionizing the recruiting process by creating alternatives for hiring teams to use when developing a candidate pool. Marcie began her career at Ernst & Young before joining Another Source in 2000 because of her desire to make a more substantive impact. Marcie worked her way up from Sourcing Guru, to Sourcing Manager, to Director of Business Development, to VP of Operations, and now to her current role, CEO and Chief Talent Strategist. Marcie holds a BA in Accounting from Seattle University.

Interests

The word that best describes Marcie is tenacious. One of her biggest goals outside work is to travel internationally with her two daughters, ages 10 and 14, before they graduate from high school.
Marcie loves playing yard games with her family at their cabin, cooking with friends, and creating budget-friendly interior decorating ideas. She has been married to the love of her life for 18 years. Her black lab, Frank, is her third child and the family mascot.

Taylor Rieckens

After acting as a critical interface for staffing roles at Microsoft and Anheuser Busch, Taylor decided to bring her expertise to Another Source as Director of Business Development. One of her primary strengths is her ability to collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership. Taylor drives high levels of customer confidence by ensuring that all interactions with customers and candidates are timely and professional, while consistently identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes. Taylor received her BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast Communications and a minor in Marketing from the University of Nevada.

Interests

Taylor lives in San Diego and enjoys sun-filled days with her husband, little girl, and pug. She loves to be outdoors, walking on the beach, riding her bike, and running. When she isn’t playing with her daughter, you can find Taylor dining out while sipping a good glass of vino.

David has more than 15 years of recruiting experience spanning multiple disciplines, including legal and higher education. As Talent Specialist and Account Manager for Another Source, his current position encompasses everything that he’s passionate about: helping organizations identify exceptional candidates and assisting individuals in uncovering their own career pathways with the best organizations in the nation.

David believes that the unique business model at Another Source allows for true partnership with clients and candidates alike. “I’m not a headhunter. You’ll never find me putting a square peg in a round hole. What you will get is transparency, passion for helping others, and industry knowledge, with a bit of humor mixed in,” he says.

Interests

David’s wife and two sons are the engine that drives his everyday. He also has a lifelong and enduring passion for ice hockey. You can often find him playing in an adult league or two on the weekends or sailing his 27-foot Balboa sloop in San Diego Bay. Although he’s had the opportunity to travel far and wide, America’s Finest City is the only place he calls home.

After dedicating 20 years to creating and managing HR teams in the manufacturing, high tech, and service provider industries, Stephanie joined Another Source as Senior Talent Strategist.

No matter what position she’s working on, Stephanie has a passion for delivering recruitment solutions that create choice in the hiring process. She is consistently recognized by her clients, her team, and her community for delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations. Stephanie received her BA in Human Resource Management from Western Washington University.

Interests

Stephanie enjoys devoting time away from work to her husband and two daughters. As a family, they enjoy watching and participating in sports, volunteering, travelling anywhere warm, and relishing all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. To find balance, Stephanie seizes any opportunity to use her creative mind.

Before joining Another Source in 2010, Heather worked as an HR specialist for 25 years, focusing on talent engagement, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Heather began with Another Source as a Talent Coordinator before moving to the Talent Strategist role in 2013.

Heather is an experienced full-cycle recruiter with a demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry. She is skilled in talent engagement, including talent acquisition, sourcing, account management, applicant tracking, and customer service.

Heather loves the challenge of learning new industries, from software and biotechnology to facilities services and non-profit. She gains satisfaction from connecting people to the next path on their professional journey.

Those who know Heather describe her as tenacious, passionate, committed, results-oriented, and a relationship-builder. Her business philosophy is: Work hard and have fun doing it!

Heather graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business Administration.

Interests

Heather enjoys skiing, hiking, watching Seattle-area sports teams, spending time with her family, and participating in community service.

Emily Otewalt

As the Another Source Recruiting Assistant, Emily focuses on the operations side of the business. She coordinates the company ResuMatch program, assists in projects designed to streamline and improve current business processes, schedules interviews, manages reference checks, and connects with candidates about opportunities.

Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest from the San Francisco Bay Area, Emily worked as an Administrative Assistant at Online Trading Academy in San Jose, and as a Donor Support Specialist at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Emily graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies.

Interests

Inside the workplace, Emily especially loves recruiting and talent development. Outside work, you can often find her hiking, running, cooking, honing her photography skills, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Melanie Vogt

Before joining Another Source in 2012, Melanie worked in various human resource roles for manufacturing companies as well as a global architecture firm. Throughout her career, most of her positions have focused in some way on recruitment.

Melanie has experience recruiting for a wide variety of job families, including the skilled trades, executive roles, and everything in between. She is adept at building rapport and conducting welcoming interviews. In her current role as Talent Coordinator, Melanie loves acting as the brand ambassador and face of the companies she’s recruiting for, and talking with candidates to find their hidden skills.

Melanie graduated from the University of Washington Foster School of Business with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources. She holds a PHR (professional in human resources) certificate.

Interests

Melanie loves being in nature, especially by the water. In her spare time, you’ll often find her out with her family exploring local beaches, hiking, going on bike rides, and generally enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She also likes to cook and garden.

Jacki has been in recruiting for almost 10 years in all different facets. She joined the Another Source team in January 2017 and loves helping people find their next career.

Interests

Born and raised in Seattle, Jacki is passionate about city life, strong coffee, being outdoors, and global travel. She particularly loves exploring new restaurants, wine tasting, and playing at dog parks. She plans to visit one new country every single year.
