Marcie Glenn, CEO of Another Source, is revolutionizing the recruiting process by creating alternatives for hiring teams to use when developing a candidate pool. Marcie began her career at Ernst & Young before joining Another Source in 2000 because of her desire to make a more substantive impact. Marcie worked her way up from Sourcing Guru, to Sourcing Manager, to Director of Business Development, to VP of Operations, and now to her current role, CEO and Chief Talent Strategist. Marcie holds a BA in Accounting from Seattle University.

Interests

The word that best describes Marcie is tenacious. One of her biggest goals outside work is to travel internationally with her two daughters, ages 11 and 15, before they graduate from high school.
Marcie loves playing yard games with her family at their cabin, cooking with friends, and creating budget-friendly interior decorating ideas. She has been married to the love of her life for 19 years. Her black lab, Frank, is her third child and the family mascot.

Taylor Rieckens

After acting as a critical interface for staffing roles at Microsoft and Anheuser Busch, Taylor decided to bring her expertise to Another Source as Director of Business Development. One of her primary strengths is her ability to collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership. Taylor drives high levels of customer confidence by ensuring that all interactions with customers and candidates are timely and professional, while consistently identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes. Taylor received her BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast Communications and a minor in Marketing from the University of Nevada.

Interests

Taylor lives in Bend, Oregon and enjoys sun-filled days with her husband and little girl. She loves to be outdoors, walking on the beach, riding her bike, and running. When she isn’t playing with her daughter, you can find Taylor dining out while sipping a good glass of vino.

David Hough

David has more than 15 years of recruiting experience spanning multiple disciplines, including legal and higher education. As Talent Specialist and Account Manager for Another Source, his current position encompasses everything that he’s passionate about: helping organizations identify exceptional candidates and assisting individuals in uncovering their own career pathways with the best organizations in the nation.

David believes that the unique business model at Another Source allows for true partnership with clients and candidates alike. “I’m not a headhunter. You’ll never find me putting a square peg in a round hole. What you will get is transparency, passion for helping others, and industry knowledge, with a bit of humor mixed in,” he says.

Interests

David’s wife and two sons are the engine that drives his everyday. He also has a lifelong and enduring passion for ice hockey. You can often find him playing in an adult league or two on the weekends or sailing his 27-foot Balboa sloop in San Diego Bay. Although he’s had the opportunity to travel far and wide, America’s Finest City is the only place he calls home.

After dedicating 20 years to creating and managing HR teams in the manufacturing, high tech, and service provider industries, Stephanie joined Another Source as Senior Talent Strategist.

No matter what position she’s working on, Stephanie has a passion for delivering recruitment solutions that create choice in the hiring process. She is consistently recognized by her clients, her team, and her community for delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations. Stephanie received her BA in Human Resource Management from Western Washington University.

Interests

Stephanie enjoys devoting time away from work to her husband and two daughters. As a family, they enjoy watching and participating in sports, volunteering, travelling anywhere warm, and relishing all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. To find balance, Stephanie seizes any opportunity to use her creative mind.

Before joining Another Source in 2010, Heather worked as an HR specialist for 25 years, focusing on talent engagement, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Heather began with Another Source as a Talent Coordinator before moving to the Talent Strategist role in 2013.

Heather is an experienced full-cycle recruiter with a demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry. She is skilled in talent engagement, including talent acquisition, sourcing, account management, applicant tracking, and customer service.

Heather loves the challenge of learning new industries, from software and biotechnology to facilities services and non-profit. She gains satisfaction from connecting people to the next path on their professional journey.

Those who know Heather describe her as tenacious, passionate, committed, results-oriented, and a relationship-builder. Her business philosophy is: Work hard and have fun doing it!

Heather graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business Administration.

Interests

Heather enjoys skiing, hiking, watching Seattle-area sports teams, spending time with her family, and participating in community service.

Melanie Vogt

Before joining Another Source in 2012, Melanie worked in various human resource roles for manufacturing companies as well as a global architecture firm. Throughout her career, most of her positions have focused in some way on recruitment.

Melanie has experience recruiting for a wide variety of job families, including the skilled trades, executive roles, and everything in between. She is adept at building rapport and conducting welcoming interviews. In her current role as Talent Specialist, Melanie loves acting as the brand ambassador and face of the companies she’s recruiting for, and talking with candidates to find their hidden skills.

Melanie graduated from the University of Washington Foster School of Business with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources. She holds a PHR (professional in human resources) certificate.

Interests

Melanie loves being in nature, especially by the water. In her spare time, you’ll often find her out with her family exploring local beaches, hiking, going on bike rides, and generally enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She also likes to cook and garden.

Recruiting is a passion for Susan!  She believes that through recruiting, you are able to make a big impact on the lives of others.  She really enjoys learning about people, building relationships, and helping others find their dream job to further develop their career.  Susan previously worked as a Corporate Recruiter for a digital marketing company, where her role focused on full cycle recruitment for the call center Sales and Support teams.

Susan is a results oriented, dedicated professional with experience in recruiting, business development, and customer service.

Interests

Susan studied Fashion Merchandising at Florida State University and has always loved learning about and following fashion trends.

Susan also really enjoys scenic road trips with her family, long bike rides, elevation hikes, and collecting different types of rocks from all over the world.

Before joining Another Source, Jake worked as an Account Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist for a large construction and engineering firm. The combination of roles sparked his passion for operational excellence to deliver strong customer service to customers and clients. Jake gets energy from learning about new industries and trends and in turn, connecting with and educating people. Jake is driven by the ability to impact organizations by understanding and delivering on expectations.

If you were to sum up Jake in three words, they would be intentional, collaborative, and curious. Jake received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his M.Ed. in Education from Seattle University.

Interests

Jake enjoys catching shows and dining around Seattle with his fiancé. On the weekends, he’s often out exploring and fly fishing the many streams and rivers the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his dog, Ada.

Lindsay Brown

Lindsay worked as a Recruiting Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Specialist for a rapidly growing Los Angeles company, before joining Another Source.  Connecting with people and helping them along their unique career path, is what she loves to do! Lindsay takes pride in providing the best possible experience from first contact to last follow up. She commits herself to the full cycle recruiting process that promotes the success of both the candidate and company.

 

Lindsay graduated from Idaho State University with a BA in Business Administration and an emphasis in Human Resources. She attended ISU under a four-year basketball scholarship. As a D1 athlete, Lindsay was exposed to the art of recruiting, and decided to pursue this process as a career interest. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Interests

Her basketball career took her to many cities across the country, and she continues to enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations. Photography and trying new cuisine has also been a long-term interest, which goes hand in hand with her love for travel.  On the weekends, Lindsay can be found at the gym, on the beach, or at the newest restaurant in San Diego! What Lindsay values most though, is spending time with friends and family.

Brian is an incredibly engaged leader with proven experience in developing successful training, recruitment, and growth strategies teams. He’s creative, ambitious, and hands-on with innate passion for team building to create a positive and productive workplace and build excellent talent partnerships.  Brian comes to Another Source after building a successful career in retail management and making the decision to move into human resources and talent acquisition. He was most recently with Equal Parts as a Culture Operations Specialist-Talent Acquisition and volunteered at the Alzheimer’s Association as a Recruitment Chair.  Brian’s currently pursuing a MS, Human Resource Management and Services.

 

Interests

When Brian’s not creatively engaging talent or building candidate pipelines, you’ll find him at the beach or at the dog park with his pups.  His passion for teamwork has an outlet in the kickball and bowling leagues he’s on and if you’re looking for good conversation, ask him which Broadway show is his favorite!

Prior to joining Another Source, Kimberly worked for a hi-tech Network Security Company in Silicon Valley where she focused on full cycle recruiting for Software Engineers, Sales and G&A roles.  She has enjoyed meeting so many different and interesting people a long the way. Knowing that She can help change someone’s life in a positive way is an amazing feeling, and the satisfaction she has gotten from that doesn’t get much better.

 

Interests

Kimberly enjoys baking for her family and friends. She also enjoys family camping trips, fishing, gardening (mainly tomatoes) and relaxing at the beach.
