About Another Source

Learn about our story, our approach to recruiting, and the best team in talent-sourcing.

Our Story: Sourcing Talent from the West Coast and Beyond

Another Source was founded in 1991 to change the way recruiting works for mid- to director-level talent in HR, finance, marketing, legal, engineering, and other industries. We identified a need for customized industry insights and strategies that help our clients and candidates move forward. Our proprietary programs revolutionize the recruiting process through a time-based, flat fee approach that creates guaranteed results.

That’s why we put people first since our founding, from our clients looking for top talent, to the hopeful candidates we bring into our roster. Every business is unique—so that’s how we approach sourcing and staffing. We work hard to understand your business and brand, so we can get the exact right people for your organization. But what never changes is our simple flat-fee recruiting structure, so it doesn’t hurt to get the best talent.

In 2009, we added another specialty to our staffing service mix—recruiting for higher education. We saw the same gap in talent sourcing for colleges and universities that we had seen decades prior in the for-profit sector, and made it our mission to help institutions continue to hire talent worthy of their pedigree.

With 29 years of delivering results for non-profit and corporate clients, we know our system works. Our clients often tell us that not only do they enjoy working with us, but that we make the recruiting process painless—and fun!

Now, we hope that you’ll become part of our story too. We truly appreciate the chance to partner with you on successful talent searches to come.

Our Mission: Transform the Recruiting Industry

At Another Source, our model doesn’t fit inside a box—and neither do you. Another Source is driven to provide better talent to our clients, better opportunities to job seekers in every region we work, by understanding your unique story and brand so that we can deliver the best possible recruiting outcomes for your team. Since our founding, we’ve worked to replace the overpriced “headhunter” model with a recruiting and staffing model that’s equitable, honest, and customer-centric.

All recruitment efforts at Another Source are inclusive; at our core we believe that diverse teams create the most productive teams. Our daily practices exemplify our commitment to the outreach and engagement of inclusive talent pools. Another Source’s Commitment to Dismantling Systemic Inequality In Recruiting.

Our values:

Trust and be trustworthy

Encourage one another

Take accountability

Treat others as we would want to be treated

Balance life’s priorities
