One of the fastest-growing non-profit organizations in the Puget Sound region, Seattle Aquarium must bring on crucial roles to advance conservation and educational efforts. To stay within budget, they must do so while using funds from donations and grants wisely.
Bandwidth is frequently limited for non-profit departments, who must focus on services and critical support needs. The aquarium’s internal HR was not in a position to provide end-to-end recruitment support for the all roles. Niche positions require dedicated outreach and sourcing – which is exactly how Another Source partnered with Seattle Aquarium.
Another Source created a recruitment process that complemented the existing systems the HR team was already using. Doing so removed the heavy lifting from the HR Business Partner’s desk for each recruitment. Additionally, Another Source identified ways to increase diversity sourcing, both aligning with the organization’s values and opening up new opportunities for qualified candidates.
Since our first engagement a few years ago, Seattle Aquarium has continued partnering with Another Source for various roles. By engaging robust and diverse candidate pools, we are committed to embracing the unique talent needs that make the aquarium a great place to work.
